Open Waitlist for New Clients Ages 5 to 20

Moving through school-age to young adulthood consists of a variety of transitions and changes that can be difficult to navigate, as if understanding emotions isn’t hard enough. These transitions are crucial for developing a sense of self and understanding one’s place in the world. As a clinician, I believe the client is the true expert of their own experience, while I am simply supporting and guiding them towards individualized goals.

Utilizing Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) as a core framework, I support clients, ages five to twenty, through a variety of issues including, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and social-emotional development. I serve clients in Washington State from Seattle to Spokane through thelehealth. I place a large emphasis on mindful practice as it helps us slow down and understand what it means to be present in thoughts and emotions.

By building mindfulness skills, one can start to understand the relationship between ourselves, thoughts, and emotions to assess how we can handle difficult or negative thinking patterns.

I have specific expertise in preschool aged children (ages three to five) and extensive experience with children, adolescence, and young adults in a variety of settings including medical, educational, and behavioral health. I utilize strength-based and holistic frameworks throughout my work to underpin the central idea that the client is the true expert of their own experience.

As a first generation Latina graduate degree holder and a Licensed Associate Independent Social Worker, I hold great honor in playing a part to make mental health care more accessible to communities.
